    Update from NY POST:

The Knicks have had "ongoing discussions" with the representatives for free-agent guard Shannon Brown, according to agent Mark Bartelstein.

"It's been something Donnie [Walsh, Knicks president] and I have talked about throughout the summer," Bartelstein said. "Mike [D'Antoni, Knicks coach] and Donnie and I have had conversations."

Have patience. Make a plan and stick to it!

    * Get rid of Isiah and his staff ...Check!
    * Get way under the salary cap ...Check!
    * Put together a winning team .... In progress!

o Trade Curry for players and/or cap space
    o Buy 1st &/or 2nd round draft pick(s)
o Select quality players in the draft to fill needs
o Fill the roster with quality free agents

I didn't know we had that much money left, I wish there were solid big men still out there. I'm curious as to what the years being discussed are.

GO NEW YORK, GO NEW YORK, GO!
“The Knicks are gonna gear up. We had our battles with Michael Jordan and the Bulls. We didn’t beat ‘em, but we didn’t lay down for Michael. You ask Michael today, the Knicks fought him tooth and nail. And we’re going to do the same thing with the Heat.” – Spike Lee, July 8th 2010
