Default OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: Knicks vs. Warriors

Lets try to forget our record for the moment and take a look at this game. I predict we win (because we HAVE to avoid setting a worst-ever record).

So many underlying stories of interest here.

Gallinar vs. Randolph - Will Gallinari matchup well against Anthony Randolph? Granted, Randolph might end up playing a lot of the 5 because of injuries to Beidrins but this is still an intriguing matchup. Gallinari will bring Randolph out to the perimeter while Randolph will bring Gallinari down low (though I don't think he'll be guarding Randolph). We get to see two guys who went in the same draft class compete against each other. Should be an exciting show of shooting and blocks from these two....

Stephen Jackson vs. Nellie - Who hasn't heard about Nellie's recent feud with Jackson and Jackson's demands to be traded? I'm sure everyone has heard about the tension that is continuing to boil between the two. Will Jackson explode against Nellie tonight? Will he refuse to play a good game? Will Nellie sit Jackson down?

Nellie vs. Knicks - I'm also interested in this situation because of Nellie's seeming passion to wreck the Knicks which started with his well known desire to send Patrick Ewing packing in favor of playing Anthony Mason. He also drafted Curry when he could have taken Flynn or Jennings (arguably two guys who might be better) when he knew NY wanted him so badly. I hope Walsh and the Knicks wants this win badly.

Stephen Jackson & Knicks - I'm interested to see how he is received by management (Walsh who had him in Indiana and experienced the brawl in the Palace) and his ex-teammate AL Harrington.

Monta Ellis - The fire has been growing between Moped Monta and Nellie in recent weeks with Ellis stating his clear displeasure with having to play alongside Curry. Will Curry & Ellis play together tonight? Should be interesting to see the two-guard set.

Stephen Curry vs. Hill - Ofcourse these two play different positions but it will be interesting to see how much time they each get tonight. Curry has recently been demoted in favor of Morrow and he certainly has not shown any flashes of his sweet stroke that he had at the draft combine.

Worst starting losing record EVER in Knicks history - If this isn't motivation for our guys to somehow pull a win against a beatable GSW team I'm not sure what is. It will be a loss of epic proportions if we somehow do not manage to pull off a win here.

Look out for Anthony Morrow...that dude can ball.

The way we lack effort running out on shooters, this game totally frightens me.

The way we lack any running whatsoever frightens me. We're just walking the ball up the court these days and waiving our matador D on defense.

Lets hope we win one tonight..

I think we win this one because its tooooo much on the line. If Lee and AH and Hughes all vets against a young team like GS have any pride at all. They win by double digits for once...

Hughes will slow down Morrow and who is going to stop Lee inside without Bendris?

Who is going to stop TD off the dribble?

Stephan Jackson better have a big game or they are through.......

Please dont start Duhon at the sg are Ellis will have him for breakfast........

Rooster, eat that worm..........

Wake Nellie up when its over........

I don't know if we have pride...I don't know if these guys look at it like they have a lot to lose...It's gonna be a tough game.

I think we just need to get a good performance a good effort, to show these guys that they can get some good results...losing begets losing...

Nellie will have these scrubs ready to play the knicks,.

Anthony Randolph is going to show tonight why he was our pick and not the gall.

Galla belongs on a good team so his defencies wouldn't be exposed as much also he would have been picked later in the draft and expectations wouldn't be as high
