Give ample PTto Trevor Ariza and he will be a Star for the Knicks.
His development from beginning of season to end was fun to watch.
If he continues to work and gets stronger over the summer he can be an exciting knick player a Josh Howard/Dallas Type Game.
how about getting Bernard King to teach Trevor his killer short turn around J.He has the lift for it.

Knicks send #1 Pick,Sweetney,Crawford
to Seattle for Ray Allen and PF Evans
Then Trade for a Center like big Z and draft GT Center if there at 30.
S.Marbury PG
R.Allen SG
T.Thomas SF
New Center C
R.Evans PF Bench=Ariza, rookie Center,Houston,Butler,Rose,JYD,Jackson

I like your assesment of Ariza, but thers no way I would trade our number 8 pick, Sweetney, and Crawford for a 30 year old Ray Allen. Jamal Crawford has the ability to be a better all around player than Allen. Lets not forget Crawford is only 24 with 7 years left as a Knick. If he takes better shots he will be a top player in this league. Anyways we still have Houstan who is a pure shooter like Ray. Substitute Houstan for Crawford and I'll do the deal. Crawford is one of our most valuable players on the team.

Because at 30Ray Allen is playoff veteran clutch shooter
and like Rasheed says one is good but I'll take two(Houston) sharpshooters.
And moves like these win Championships. Then a Green Draft makes sense hmm.
How do you like Evans who is the Key?Which frees up room at PF with Trade of Thomas for a Center.

I like Evans and have all the respect in the world for Ray RAy. But Crawford has proven to be clutch hitting 2 buzzer beaters last season to secure wins for NY. He hasnt yet played in a playoff game yet so that is yet to be determined. When the Knicks were healthy last season we were 1st in the division and 3rd in the conference. When Jamal went down with the toe injury, it started falling apart. Bottom line is, add a few more young athletic players to this team and we will have something to cheer for.

Players I like and we should keep:

Marbury: The face of NY. Hes our leader.
Crawford: Best perimeter shooter ACTIVE on our roster. Dazzling young player. defense is only weakness and shot selection. Will improve
Ariza: young athletic and one of our best defenders.
Sweetney: Big man that likes to bang and rebound. Need to work on shot blocking and staying out of foul trouble.
JYD: hustle player. rebounds well. Is it just me but did his offense look very sharp last season. We need his energy trade Rose somewhere.
Jackie Butler: Young kid out of highschool, know one knows or talks about. Appered in only 3 games and was perfect from the field and line. 3-3 and 2-2 8 points and 6 rebs.

i agree with what you said about jyd but we can't trade away rose who is a defensive specialist. he's won two championships and is the only player on the team with two rings. he brings what the knicks lack and when he came to the team things started to click on the defensive end.

i also agree that jackie butler could be a good player. he's shooting 100% haha. if he can develop and mature he will be a vital part of this team

Cap-wise I don't believe the trade would work out with Crawford/Allen, not to mention that the trade doesn't make very much sense.

And everyone around here sems to love Jackie Butler so much, and honestly, I don't see him having any chance in the NBA. He'll be a career backup that gets fewer minutes than Darko.
