11. How well are Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson playing together in Denver?
ANSWER: This comes from a veteran NBA scout after the Nuggets' fourth straight loss Wednesday at Portland dropped them to 22-21 overall: "I see Iverson passing the ball ahead to Anthony on the break, but I don't see Anthony reciprocating. When Iverson has been out ahead in transition, Anthony hasn't been giving the ball to him. Is it because Anthony wants to keep his scoring average up? I don't know, but it isn't a good sign. The other thing is that Anthony doesn't look like he's in shape after his 15-game suspension. They have a lot of work ahead, that's for sure."
I really liked Melo when he first came tothe NBA. I thought Lebron had too much hype. Even hoped Melo would win ROY.
Then that refusing to come back into the game shit.
Then that drug dvd.
Then that marijuana thing.
I looked past all of that, even went against LB in that Olympic catasrophe.
But that sucker punch just completes the picture. It's kinda like what they make Kobe out to be (regardless of wether you think Kobe is like that or not) except with decidedly less talent and more me-first, beatch mentality....
Melo's a beatch, he'll never live up to Lebron. I hatethe props D-Wade is getting for that lopsidedly refereed finals games... but thats better than Melo... I hope stern leaves him out of the all star team.... If it was just a punch, i'd let him in... even if it was against the knicks... its the backpeddaling i cant stand... that was worth 15 games right there... and a snub at the all star game to boot.... Melo is a beatch.
