Does this affect you personally? If yes, how?

I am just hoping that JP Morgan Chase doesn't buy us (SunTrust).

So now with today's news....... The real estate market is going to take another dive. I see the lowest point at Dec 09. I am planning on buying some real estate at that point.

One of my friends probably lost his job...he was in sales and trading, but I actually haven't asked him...his birthday was Saturday...ouch.

I work for a commodities brokerage firm on Wall Street (i'm w/general counsel) and it's hitting everyone pretty hard. We're at a point of uncertainty as it's somewhat unpredictable where the market will go. I've got some friends working for LB and they're worried about their job security....

GL Baller, you would do well working for the NBA or a team if things go bad downtown.

Nice to see you're around, Watcher. I actually used to work for a large law firm in midtown that represented the NBA player's association - Weil Gotshal & Manges. It was fun stuff but eventually, i needed a change of pace
