Talking Zbo Zbo Zbo

who still wants to trade Zbo for Darko ?

Sorry just being an ass about it, yall know Zbo is my main man!

Told you he can pass and play pretty good D in the right system. Something Curry will never be able to do and 13 boards, Curry only gets that if the other team is playing without a Center in a 4 on 5 game.

Surprisingly, Zbo looked really good last night. He passed, played team ball and did what he does best - score & rebound. He complimented David Lee excellently.

Lets not get to out of our minds here. This is one pre-season game. O'neal only played 17 minutes so it was evident that there was no emphasis on defense so Zebo and others had their way all night long down low..

If Walton's plan with Zach and others is to pump up their trade value last night surely helped with Marbury and Zach.

Still, last night was encouraging.

I hope he keeps playing at this level because we will be able to dump his salary AND get a quality player and pick in return. Donnie is looking pretty smart for not dumping him. He and Lee play well together. I still think that the Clips need a guy like Zach, and I think that before the deadline, we might get Camby and a pick for him. NY needs a superstar like LeBron in the worst way and Zach, Eddie, Jared and Crawford are all standing in the way of that happening. I like Crawford (played very well last night as well) and I like Jeffries and Zach. I could like Curry if he steps out and plays when healthy. I love the idea of having LeBron and Wade or Bosh in NY. Their level of play is off the charts.

I do...lol.

Listen, I loved the way ZBo looked to. But cap space is more valuable than just about every player on the team. If it were the only way, i'd trade anyone to get under the cap for 2010.

Unfortunately, I am not convinced Curry becomes tradeable. I would prefer to trade Curry too...but ZBo is a better player making more money. Maybe if we package Curry we can get someone to bite, but I'm not optimistic about it.

Don't get me wrong, I would trade Zbo in a New York second to get The King, Wade, Josh Smith or Melo, but none of that might happen and all I'm saying is that most guys who post here wanted to dump Zbo off to Memphis for Darko and some garbage. Zbo is one of the best PF in the league, only problem is that we got another PF who has potential to be just as good in Lee for far less money.

Lets get this straight, Zbo is gone for Lebron but he is 10 times better than Curry! Some things like a rebounding feel, hustle, and heart you can't teach and Curry doesn't have them.

Trade his lard ass for Josh Smith! Salaries add up and ATL needs a real Center like Curry.

Hordford at PF and Curry at Center would make a winning combo there with Bibby and Super Joe Johnson, mean while, Zbo, Lee and Josh rotating between Center and PF for us would be deadly in the run n gun.

Maybe we trade Zbo in the summer after he has a 24 and 12 season for a good mobile Vet. center like Kaman and a pick. Clippers need scoring down low and Zbo and Camby would compliment each other well on the Clippers.

Leaving us in 2009-10 with salary room and a lineup of:

Duhon, Nate, Mardy (Steph gone and another 22 million freed up)
JC, Q, H2o(for lockerroom support)
Chandler, Gallo, JJ
Josh, Lee (Rose 7 million salary gone too !)
Kaman, Lee(still gets his 30+ minutes between Pf and Center)

Why would Atlanta trade the young all-world can do everything Josh Smith for eddy curry?

Zach Randolph and Lee if they develop chemistry like we saw last night, all we would need is a basket defender to start the break and protect our goal.

This is why I recommended Dalembert, type.

At least Johnny when you make up these proposals, consider the other team sometimes...that will kill 90% of you're trades for the knicks. LOL
