| Some weird news today- at my local YMCA in central Jersey, I was doing the usual lift, swim, whatever. Taking a shower, I looked across from me and there was Jay Williams ! We started get into talking about ball and his injuries and what he was doing and everything- he told me he has a non-guaranteed contract offer for pre-season with the Knicks!! I couldn't believe him, but I figured he had no reason to lie to a random person at the Y. He looked to be in good shape- let's reunite the old Duke backcourt- Duhon and Williams!! DO IT DONNIE!!! |

Operative word: RUMOR Any contract (guarantteed or not) would have certainly been substantiated by some credible source by now. And Jay Will certainly would not be practicing at the local "Y" if he was prepping for the pre-season. Rather, he'd be at the Knicks' facilities. | |

| Slick did say "non-guaranteed contract offer." Not a signed contract. This is a pretty elaborate story to make up. I mean, you'd have to be a real loser to make up a story about J Will at a YMCA. I think our KnicksCity residents have some credibility.

| Superstar | wich is most likely? that slick may have posted a rummor he heard claiming it happend to him? or that Jay actually has a non guarranted contract to return to practice with the knicks and is also working out by at the Y??? i mean, look at H14 (a.k.a. H20) non guarranteed contract to try out for the team, and he is practicing with the whole team... wouldnt Jay be there as well//>????

| Superstar | hey balla... im pretty sure that once H14 proves he can be part of the team for next season (and im not sure if he will, but i am really rooting for him), Jeffries will have to look for a diferent number and H20s will be restored...

| to hear starks's point out cantor, Houston signed the contract, the rumor posted is Jay has an OFFER. But as starks said, if someone makes it up, that's lame lol...if it's true, good post. |
