Seriously, Danilo is no Houston. They don't even play the same position. Houston's made his money shooting the ball and eventually his knees were gonna give. Danilo is a young man. He's played a tremendous amount of ball this past year. He's never run into the likes of Tractor. Sure, it's a rude awakening. He's got to get stronger and bigger. I don't fault you for feeling Danilo is fragile. Out a month after a knock down from Tractor - makes you wonder. But c'mon....he's got time to heal, he's not playing for the Italian team and he's gonna be ready to bang come November. So i'm giving him a fair chance to prove his value....

| The only possibly argument that could make Knicks fans feel good is hoping that this kind of injury wouldn't have kept him out of regular season games...given the importance of Italian ball to him (I assuem it's important), I don't know if that is valid...though again, maybe the NBA is now his top priority. |

i actually hesitated w/ the a houston line - his shot against the heat in game 7 is an all-time classic - i was really refering to late-career a houston - the one who crippled the team w/ incessant injuries.. i know ive been down on this kid since before the draft - but you have to admit that your 'He's played a tremendous amount of ball this past year' argument is flimsy at best - they play closer to a college schedule in europe - he didnt play one game all summer until the 3/4 of a summer-league game in which he got hurt - for a 19 yr old kid to miss a month w/ a 'sore back' after playing 3/4 of one game is clearly not a good sign.. either the injury is a lot worse than first reported or this kid is an uberpussy - either way it's not looking good..

| Superstar | i know he hasn't played a game yet but i still think he's a little sissy boy. how do you still have a sore back after one summer league game a month later? i'm sorry he's a pussy and it doesn't matter that hasn't played a game yet, that's actually hurting him cuz he's sitting out like a little girl with back soreness. |

Yeah, it's tough to argue you on this because the facts speak for themselves - he's been out 1 month because of his injury. Your points are pretty valid at this juncture. Hopefully, your opinion on Gallo will change as the season progresses...
