Default Duhon = The Next Steve Nash

I know its highly unlikely that Duhon will morph into the next nash, but just for fun I decided to compare Nash and Duhon's numbers over the first 4 years of their careers and average them over 40 minutes per game. Here are the results that are VERY VERY similar (with nash a slightly better scorer and Duhon a slightly better defensive player):

Nash
-------------

Player ...Year.......Reb/40......A/40......St/40......TO/40......PPG/40
Nash.......Y1............3.81...........8......... ..1.14........3.7 ..........12.57
Nash.......Y2............3.84.........6.21........ 1.46........2.36........16.62
Nash.......Y3............3.66.........6.94........ 1.14........2.62.........9.97
Nash.......Y4.............3.21.........7.15....... .1.02........2.66........12.55

Player ...Year.......Reb/40......A/40......St/40......TO/40......PPG/40
Duhon....Y1.............3.92........7.4........... .1.51........2.19........8.91
Duhon....Y2.............4.12........6.87.......... 1.24........2.17........1.96
Duhon....Y3.............3.61........6.56.......... 1.48........2.21........11.8
Duhon....Y4.............3.19........7.08.......... 1.24........1.91........10.27

Nash's shooting percentages are much higher.

Decent analysis, but you gotta see if Duhon can actually be trusted to play high minutes...so far he hasn't proven he can, but we shall see...and let's hope he can.

I find this all hilarious....all these posts comparing Duhon to Nash....lol...we're comparing a guy who played in limited minutes...couldnt even start on his own team to a former NBA MVP....lets just hope we signed a solid basketball player instead of a bust!!!

I Agree 100%...BUT..you could easily have said the same exact thing after the 1st 4 years of Nash's career.
