still waiting for the list

this article merely states in detail what ive said in summary -
and since youve so graciously allowed me to hold to my misguided opinion - which we all know is 'ignorant and baseless hate', and this guy says the same thing as me only more thoroughly - yet somehow this guy's article 'does have some substance'
am i to conclude that my opinions are ignorant and baseless hate until someone posts it on the web?
and what exactly is the demarcation line between 'substance' and 'hate'? b/c they seem to me to be rather distant on the spectrum..
or perhaps its possible that this guy's stuff is 'substantial hate' which perhaps you respect despite its status as 'hate'?

or is the more simple and realistic conclusion that youre a pompous ass who holds discussions like a 6 yr old karl rove and rather than maintaining the integrity of the conversation by discussing the substance of the issue you choose instead to attempt to belittle and pigeon-hole those with whom you disagree by means of small-minded labels when its clear that you havent the slightest idea with whom your dealing?
Clearly i've touched a sensitive nerve. That was not my intention. I thought an intelligent discourse could go on between us, Fyodor, but perhaps my expectations were set too high.

And I thought I was dealing with a rational, open-minded, Knicks fan. I guess you're right, I clearly don't know who I'm dealing with here...

Some of us can foresee the inevitable, others need to have new prescriptions just to hold a conversation.

Gallanari pick at #6 is nothing more than an marketing ploy from David "the don" Stern to globalize the NBA by trying to bring in as many guys as possible from the league across the water.

In a city like NY EVERYTHING GETS HYPED UP 50 % more than anywhere else.
Playa2u, i don't think anyone here believes Gallinari to be any "great white hope". Sure, he brings some hope to a belleaguered and beaten down Knicks squad, but great white hope...no, I don't think so. And yes, I would agree with you to an extent that there are some in the league and among the fans who are looking for the next great white hope. Understanding this, drafting a white player with skills would indeed appeal to these types of fans and would be a savvy business move.

I can definitely see how this could be a marketing move. There certainly is a large Italian community in New York and Gallinari would appeal to not only the Italian community but also to the International Community (which New York is comprised up of). Since the NBA is a business first and foremost I do believe this to be a savvy business move. I also believe acquiring Gallinari was a solid basketball decision too.

Allow Me To Disagree, Playa...
This European Guy, God Or Bad, Was Previewed As A Top 10 Pick By A Bunch Of Nba Analysts...besides That, There Was Not A Legit Point Guard By The Time We Pick Him...
I Don´t Believe In A "great White Hope" Conspiracy....at Least The Guy Isn´t Labeled As The Savior Of The Franshise As Many Stiff Guys Were...
And Well...isaiah, Marbury, Jj2 And Zach Randolph Were 150% Hyped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fyodor = tool lol

Dude is biased against foreign players so its whatever about his opinions regarding our draft pick. This draft wasn't that great especially when you get past the top 3 so there was no "sure thing" that imo we missed out on. Not saying that someone or even someones couldn't break out and be a beast.

Alright everyone relax...no name calling, just chill out. Some people think he's gonna be a bust based on his negatives, other's think he will be good based on his positives and no one freaking knows.
