Default Basketball Without Borders in India for the first time

Well this is exciting news from a personal standpoint. I am obviously going to call friends in New Delhi and tell them to attend this event and let me know what they see. It is supposed to be a basketball camp + marketing stint.

Who knows? In about 3 years, you might see a PG get drafted from India in June

LOL they couldn't find better players to go to India? I am guessing Ashton Kutcher will get the warmest reception out of the 4 players.

This is great news. I'm sure that countries like India and China both have a vast pool of untapped (basketball) resources. Would love to see more asian (east, southeast, pacific islander, etc.) make a splash in the NBA.

I'm sure that the NBA will soon be implementing a marketing campaign that will strategically place ads for NBA in Bollywood films....Who knows, maybe SRK will do the lead in a remake of "White Man Can't Jump". (JOKE)...

Robo, many of us were not born in a cave you know..

If you know anything about Indian cinematography (e.g. Bollywood) it is near impossible to not have heard of SRK. He's THE man.

East, you're correct. I lived in Carriacou (small island off the coast of Grenada) for several months and travelled throughout the carribean and the West Indies. There are so many Indians who immigrated generations ago that now live in the West Indies (specifically, Trinidad, Tobago and a couple of other islands).
